We think it's a nest--it's smaller than a tennis ball and is white and fuzzy with little brown spots and is growing on the end of a branch...

Sorry, nests don't grow on trees. Birds build them.

P.S. There is no Santa Clause. Your parents buy those gifts and put them under the tree while you are asleep.

Could be a humming bird nest. they sometimes use spider webs for nest building material.

nest don't grow, cut it off, depose of it in a sealed plastic bag
