Not only you can cross breed plants ; but man is doing exactly that for more than a thousand years now.

Otherwise it would have been impossible to feed the teeming population of the world .

You can cross varieties of the same species.

The definition of species tells us that members of different species cannot interbreed.

Occasionally, exceptions to this rule are found. Some species are so closely related that they can be crossed. However, the offspring from these crosses are generally infertile.

plants and trees do nothing else ,they have no morrals whatso ever.


and farmers also to get better hybreds and new fruits or more resistant species.

yes you can but i dont know if YOU can i think they do it with special tools or something that can help the plants fertalize each other
