Which cells in the life cycle of a mushroom can undergo meiosis?

my guess is the basidia....but are there more?

Your guess is accurate. It is only in the basidium meiosis occurs.

After nuclear fusion ( Karyogamy) the nucleus in the basidium is diploid.

It undergoes MEIOSIS to produce four haploid nuclei.

From them four haploid basidiospres are produced.

See the pictures below.

In (1) which is a photograph under electron microscope , you will see an arrow pointing towards a basidiospore.

(2) & (3) In this you can see a basidium with sterigmata and basidiospores.

Sexual reproduction in basidiomycetes is similar to that of ascomycetes. Sexually compatible haploid hyphae fuse to produce a dikaryotic mycelium. This leads to the production of a basidiocarp. The most commonly-known basidiocarps are mushrooms, but they may also take many other forms. Club-like structures known as basidia generate haploid basidiospores following karyogamy and meiosis. These basidiospores then germinate to produce new haploid mycelia.
