You could research the different fuel options we have available... such as gasoline versus ethanol. Or the ways hybrid cars work... etc

For a science fair project, it is most likely to fail. If you want to pass with at least in 2nd or possibly 1st place, go to a web page that has all the information that you would need inorder to complete your project. For searching on the web, go onto google and search for "science projects", this should give you some pretty good stuff. And dont forget to show where you got your ideas from, such as, exacy web page, information, data, and at least a 5 paragraph essay or more on your specific project you chosed.

For 6th and 7th Grades, I suggest something simple and local (in your neighbourhood). Also you can make it an example of The Scientific Method where you do your own measurements.
Pollution is always a good topic. Simply counting and classifying the different sorts of pollutants in a given area (ponds, streams, drains, playground, abandoned lot) make good investigations.
Your teacher will know if you copied 'wholesale" from the Internet and can mark you down. Do try to do some for yourself.

Send an email to the above address.
Address it to the director and ask him to email you information on hydroelectric power in relation to the Gilboa Blenheim Dam, Schoharie Valley, New York for a school project.
Tell him that "Henry" recommended the project to you.
He'll send you a lot of interesting information that should give you a very unique presentation.
I'll bet no one could top that.

shove some dry ice in a water bottle and throw it at an oncoming vehicle. time how long it takes you to expire of how. the IV is the vehicle/vehicle driving force. the dv is the time.. my hypothesis is which you would be sooooo intimidted by employing the guy interior the monster truck which you will chop up in .02 seconds. "if i throw co2 at intimidating human beings, then i will sprint away speedier." scientifically speaking, it is concerning to pollution for the reason which you're making extra by employing throwing plastic bottles at human beings. thank you to pass loser!

Believe it or not the easy projects usually do pretty well. When I was in school I did my project on the different types of fingerprints and how you can be tracked by your fingerprints. Good luck!

How about a study on the quality of hearing abilities of kids who thump their music so loud that it can be heard for blocks as opposed to those who listen to quieter sounds.

Start with something simple, like growing plants under different colors of light and seeing which grows the fastest, or something like that.
