I have found it impossible to confirm if the "organic" pesticide called Bt is what is being used to control the Apple Moth. the second part of my question is, if a pesticide like Bt, which is suppose to be organic. Then is still considered organic if it has been genetically altered?

I recently cut down a tree in my front yard. Since that time, I get these very tall and fast growing weeds. They look something like a fern or black locust leaf. The stalks are very hard. I can mow them down, but they keep coming back. They get pretty tall. Lots of little leaves very close together.

I just went for a walk, and I saw these berries hanging on a tree/shrub (it was reasonably tall, like 9 feet.) I ate one, and it was pretty sweet, so I thought I should come back to pick some...however then I realized that I didn't know what they were and they could be poisonous. I live in Iowa, and these berries look like blackberries, only they were red. They were quite small, maybe 1-1.5 cm in length. Are berries like that (aggregate) usually safe to eat?

We were sitting here at work, and we were talking about the Starwberry festival down the street that we will be going to later, and one lady said that she wasn't going because the in the starwberry get to her teeth, and she said, "They need to figure out how to make seedless strawberries, they can make seedless grapes, oranges and watermelons--they need to figure out how to make seedless strawberries."

--So that's my question--
