which job is better a Doctor or a Lawyer

Ok, so bird flu or SARS or whatever wipes out the human population (like gone) leaving practically the entire rest of the ecosystem intact. Bears and primates battle for dominion over dry land. Who wins?

Ok, here are the rules:
1) No peaceful resolution; coexistence and/or isolationism be damned! The bears and the primates want it all and they want it now.

2) No write-in candidates. The dolphins are not taking to the streets. The armadillos do not take charge in the 11th hour for the upset.

3) No other animals as key victors, however they may enter into combat (strategically or otherwise). The monkeys can form an alliance with the lemurs, but only insomuch as the US formed an alliance with Romania to help fight the war in Iraq.

4) We left all of our toys behind. Cars, grocery stores, indoor plumbing, strip clubs. And a lot of human carcasses.

All right, so who's your money on?

Asked a question about mixed race and skin colour inheritance and someone gave a really good answer but said that after fertilization we don't know where all the genes are going to. Am I stupid or what but I thought that this is what the Human genome project had answered. I thought we knew what all 46 genes did. Am I getting mixed up between chromosomes and genes?

For literary research, how much of the human body can be surgically removed, including limbs, organs, etc., and still live without life support?

A mixed race couple have say 10 children, I'm guessing none of them will have blond hair and blue eyes and none ot them will have white, northern european type skin colour. Thinking of Mendel's original genetic experiments with red and white flowers, would that apply to human beings, that is offspring from a mixed race couple will always be some white and some black but in the same ration. When thinking of white people I mean someone with no other genetic mix in their ancestry if that is possible.

I have a friend and he says he's not attracted to me or doesn't feel that way about me (despite sleeping with me once) but I noticed that his pupils change dramatically in size when he looks at me, almost as though he's looking into the dark. This happens even in bright light. I looked it up and apparently it means they're attracted to you. Is this true? Does his pupil dilation actually mean anything?

Apart from the elusive "common ancestor" of us Humans and Chimps (which, I have discovered, cannot be produced, nor even properly identified), is there any hard, hold-in-the-hand solid fossil evidence, that proves, unequiivocally (without doubt), that we humans evolved from apes? Just 'one', convincing sample with do.
Please, be specific. I've trawled all the suggested, relevant and overwhelming evolutionary information, searching for this.
Serious answers only. Jokes are fun sometimes, but not this time, please.
