Is there a way to know how long the effects of an exposure to carbon monoxide remains in the system? I'm sure it depends on the length of time, amount, and weight, but is there a general rule that can be applied given those variables?

If it's the THEORY of evolution why does it seem that it is a FACT?
I mean....in all the schools' textbooks, they seem to mention it like a fact. Is there actually any REAL proof that it is real???

I was wondering what would happen to our bodies if there is no adrenaline secreted into our bloodstream, i.e. our adrenaline ducts are removed. So will we still feel excitement, anxiety or other effects that adrenaline can cause?

Please answer with details and evidences, and website(s) if there is /are any. Thanks so much!

At what stage of evolution did man develop a sense of humour? What caused it? How does it make him a better species? If man evolved from apes, why don't monkeys and gorillas have a sense of humour? And why would baboons evolve to have hair all over the body except the face and behind? And why do baboons have multi-coloured behinds? Does this mean that evolution is kinda funny, or is God funny?

Right.
4 days ago, I posed a question asking how many people believe in Neo-Darwinian Evolution. I posed this question on both the Religion & Spirituality and Biology categories, and said I'd post the results.
The Results were:

For Biology: 58% Yes, 21% No, 21% neutral
19 respondants in total.

For Religion & Spirituality: 55% Yes, 39% No, 6% neutral
32 respondants in total.

After reading several pro-intelligent design books, I decided to try to find an unbiased source about this debate(the books were based on faulty logic and I was mainly wondering about the points they raised). Basically what are your views on evolution and can you back it up?

I was watching this Time Travel movie and these guys went back in time to the Dinosaur Age and accedently stepped on a bug.
When they went back into the future, There were Dinosaur Apes.
Like, Monkeys mixed with Dinosaurs.

It makes no since to me, does it to you guys? And if so, explain to me how that happened.

If humans are 99.5% identical to chimpanzees, and we start genetically engineering ourselves for, strengh, speed, intellegence, beauty, etc... and end up 80% identical to our starting point. arn't chimps more human then we are? since they are 99.5%?

I'm hovering at the decision point between completing my MS and going on to the PhD.

I want to know what kinds of jobs I would be looking at with the MS, because I'm not sure I want to go all the way to the doctorate -- I enjoy my work, but I feel that the PhD can be limiting in some instances.. it's not so much about money, but I want to know that if I stay with the MS, I'll actually have job opportunities that don't involve glorified bottle washing!

Can anyone who has been here give any advice?

Ok, so whatever people say you know we look like monkeys, etc. there's no proof that we were 'evolved' from them. Nothing from evolution makes sense. Please give resources!
