You don't even have to do much really...
- Plant a strawberry or spider plant in a pot
- When mature, the plant will grow runner extensions
- Put the end of the runner into a new pot
- After a few days you will find that a second plant begins to grow in the new pot
- Soon the runner will detach and the second plant takes root and grows by itself
- This second plant is genetically identical to the parent, it is an example of asexual reproduction (basically clones) occurring in plants!

Some plants can be grown using a clipping from part of the plant. This will have the same genes as the origonal plant so technically is a clone.

Yes! It's called taking cuttings.
You need this years growth of say a rose cut to 4 inch legths , with a node just above the bottom of the twig. Remove all shoots.
Dip the bottom end in hormne rooting powder
plant at about 45 degrees in light soil.
you need masses. If 2 % take, they are still free plants

It's very easy to clone an african violet or a begonia. You are talking about asexual plant propagation. Don't overcomplicate your life by trying to do something nature already does very well.
