(I posted this question in Botany two days ago, but got no answers.)

I own an Anthurium (which sub-species, I'm afraid I don't know, but it has light pink flowers.) It has flowered flawlessly for many months, and last week put up another flowerbud.

Halfway through opening, however, the flower decided it wanted to be a leaf.

A week later, it's grown to the full size of an Anthurium leaf (say, 7" by 4"), is half green and half pink, and has a fully-developed flower stalk or stamen! It is therefore much, much larger than a normal Anthurium flower.

Is there a proper term for these 'Floleafs' or 'Leaflowers?'

How common are they (my plants have never done this before, and the Anthurium has since put up three perfectly normal flowers)?

humans are the worst animals on this planet because i think they dont have fur, they cant fly, they have no claws, and we can hardly swim. we have to rely on artificial things to stay alive. we are not self sufficent without it! but we can make more things to make us safe in the world! does anyone else feel the same? and why?

Evolution or natural selection refers to "weeding out" process, correct? If so, then natural selction actually has to critically think. If it critically thinks then it must have a brain. Example: a farmer goes out to farm he notices that his crops are bing chked by the weeds, so he gets rid of the weeds, "weeding out".

Evolution sounds pretty smart or could evolution acutally be G-d, may he be blessed?
