Evolution or natural selection refers to "weeding out" process, correct? If so, then natural selction actually has to critically think. If it critically thinks then it must have a brain. Example: a farmer goes out to farm he notices that his crops are bing chked by the weeds, so he gets rid of the weeds, "weeding out".

Evolution sounds pretty smart or could evolution acutally be G-d, may he be blessed?

Sorting processes, or "weeding out" as you put it, happen all the time in nature without the need for any intelligence.

Simple example: if you leave a jug of freshly milked cow milk for an hour, the fat (otherwise known as "cream") rises to the top. Would you call the jug of milk "intelligent"? No. Is any intelligence acting on it? No. This is just a natural consequence of the fact that the individual fat molecules are lighter than the individual water molecules in the milk.

Natural selection is another example. It is not a violent "weeding out" of the weak by the strong, or an intelligent sorting process performed by some outside intelligence ... it just means that those individuals that are slightly better suited for their environment tend to make more babies, which causes changes to the genetic makeup of the population over time. No intelligence needed.

Nope, evolution is not natural selection. Natural selection is very common and can be oserved anywhere in the world. It's simply that the fittest animals survive to mate the most. Simple. However evolution is different, evolution is the theory that through genetic mutations over millions of years, a simple soupy mess called prebiotic soup of simple amino acids. devloped into humans after millions of years. People often used these two terms synonymously but they actually aren't.

"weeding out" takes no thought. All that simply happens is that a stronger version of a creature is more likely to breed and pass along his genetic material than a weaker version. Over time this results in changes to the "normal" form of the creature.

The other part religions hate .. in the end evolution is really all about sex.

As cman points out natural selection is the process by which evolution occurs. However there is a difference between "Evolution" that is the origin of the species and "evolution," which is simply a change in gene frequncy of time. cman is talking about Evolution.

If you think God is any animal with bigger teeth and horns than you have, then you could say that God is part of evolution. Otherwise, natural selection is about the tougher creatures beating out the weaker creatures in a race for survival.

What the heck are you talking about?
Evolution is a process of natural phenomena, not some thought out plan.....no one is pulling the strings in this show!
