I don't know if this is a natural occurence, but I saw it, and it was stunning. On the day of December 29, 2007, at around 3:30 AM (GMT+8, Manila), me and my cousins were just finishing up our game of poker at my rest house in the suburbs, when I decided to walk around our yard while smoking. Anyway, I looked up in the night sky, and there was this big, cleared-out, perfect circular "hole", and the moon was right smack dab in the middle! It's like, imagine a bowl, turn it upside down so that the concave faces you, and the moon is right in the middle. It was relatively hazy that night (but there were no rain clouds). The most puzzling thing is that, if it was just a blanket of cloud that was seemingly cleared out by the moon rays, then why, when a high-flying aircraft crossed this "hole" with its tail emitting a smoke trail, the perfect circle hole was not ruined at all? Is there an explanation for this "phenomenon" if I can call it one? Thanks. :)- reypasco818, Manila, Philippines

My friend has his own machine shop so the parts could be fixed up and made to fit together, i would base it on the old V-2 rockets or the Mercury Redstone rockets only a tad bit larger.

This question has been bugging me for so long and I am truly amazed at how no one else apart from me wants to know. I know there was a big black void before the Bang but how was that void even there in the first place? Anyone has any theories?

I was having a discussion with my uncle over the holidays and he said he thought that global warming would cause the extinction of the human race. I thought that was total non-sense. We then started talking about what could conceivably cause the extinction of the human race. Where we agreed was with gamma ray bursts, major comet impact etc.

Do you think the human race will ever go extinct (like the dinosaurs)? If so, how do you think it will happen?

Take this quiz and find out:

My results:
"You Are From Neptune.
You are dreamy and mystical, with a natural psychic ability.
You love music, poetry, dance, and (most of all) the open sea.
Your soul is filled with possibilities, and your heart overflows with compassion.
You can be in a room full of friendly people and feel all alone.
If you don't get carried away with one idea, your spiritual nature will see you through anything."

Take the quiz and find out:
http://www.blogthings.com/whatplanetshouldyourulequiz/

My results:
"You Should Rule Venus

Venus is a mysterious, stormy planet - shrouded in a thick layer of clouds.

You are perfect to rule Venus, because you are quite emotional and volatile yourself.
Your emotions change as rapidly as the weather on Venus, and both you and the planet are incomprehensible to others.

While you are not a logical thinker, you are quite empathetic.
You can care for and understand others, but your emotions swirl too quickly to truly understand yourself."

How do the scientists do it. How do they know the magnetic poles of other planets, and how do they make maps of it. On earth it is simple for us.
