and is the universe infinite?Its kind of a chicken or the egg question,but when you really think about it somewhere along the way something had to of just appeared.I do believe that the universe has to be infinite wether its connected to other universes or whatever,but the whole thing is mind blowing,almost to the point of insanity.

I vote it doesn't, and that it's matter frozen to absolute zero, where all motion stops.

At absolute zero, the properties of matter are unknown...

I remember in Law class during current events someone said that people found a planet like earth. Hmmm, i've been reading other answers from question like this and everybody says, there is no planet like earth, or it's possible. So who's right?

it would just seem logical to make the brighter it is, the higher the magnitude. (meaning a higher number) Linguistically, it might be said that a higher magnitude has a lower number, i don't know. but why make it confusing?

I wish I'd been alive back then, I would love to have seen that.I've read over the old newspapers from that date but that doesn't ammount to being there to see it obviously. Do you think man will land on Mars in our lifetime?

Hello, I am of a very scientific mind;

Has there ever been any speculated means of harvesting raw solar energy from the sun (in the form of whatever rays make it to the earth or to orbitally positioned solar cells), and taking this solar energy and continuously cycling / refining / converting it molecularly to produce solar fuel, without adding anything else that does not come directly from a sun? Is this possible? My ideas are for purely for a science fiction novel I am going to write, and I am in need of a realistic way of propelling "starships" from one solar system to another; I figured harvesting solar energy from various suns could be a good idea, if it's possible to convert solar energy entirely into solar fuel to propel a starship unit. I need a realistic way (holding some scientific bearing) in which solar energy is collected by itself, without adding anything else to it, and reconfiguring the molecules to have efficient solar fuel.

Thanks for any useful contributions.

Suppose in another habitable planet there are beings that are human-like, and there's no racism, no money, no rent, no war, everyone is nice and everything is free. Would you move to another planet to start your life?

What would mankind do if they arrived to the planet?

I am just curious about your opinion.

was the big bang the only thing they could come up with?

I'm curious how a satellite 80 times the weight of the earth that is moving at more than 3 and a half thousand kmph around the earth can split in half all of a sudden and yet nobody else on earth witnessed this event (which is just yesterday considering the age of the earth). Is there any other literature that states that this happened(besides from the Quran-Im an ex muslim by the way,so I don't find Islamic literature reliable at all).

Can anyone show me proof that the moon split in two around 1400 years ago?And I mean solid scientific proof, not "it happened cause the Quran said so" .

I'd like to hear the opinion of muslims and non-muslims alike on this, thanks
