Since it's wrong what theory am I supposed to believe in? I can't remember my exact source but I'm almost sure it's either Carl Sagan or Jessica Alba. You would think it would have made a bigger splash than it did. I'll bet Oprah could get to the bottom of it!

our planet like any other, is made just about the same stuff from space. then, my question is: why should we go to the moon and mars to bring more stuff?
don´t we have the same here on earth?
were the rocks from the moon different?
if so, why?
why aren´t the rocks similar ?
thanks for your answers and greetings from México!

I'm looking to understand the size, positions colors and luminocity of the stars, but I would also like to know their positions in the sky in relation to our own.

I understand that there are wonders being discovered in astronomy and space exploration but up to this point I don't see much that could help survival of mankind. Does anyone have any idea how far a billion light years is? And who cares if there's another black hole in the universe. The money that was spent for the trip to the moon could've been better used to find cure for cancer or the commone cold.

On the other hand, the seas can be a great source of food. Should'nt we concentrate instead probing the depths of the ocean and studying its inhabitants for possible unlimited source of food.

Do you believe there is a way around relitivity, will a sufficiently advanced culture one day find a way to transverse the space between the stars faster then light?

Remember, 200 years ago most educated people would sware up and down that a heavier then air vichael could never fly, that the sound barrer would never be broken, etc.

Granted, some will say these are mechanical problems and the light barrier is a matter of physics... However, what are the laws of physics but high-end mechanical problems?

Space itself can expand faster the light--Does that not imply a possibile back door around this restriction?

Also, keep in mind what we KNOW of physics is far from everything.

Opinions...

Ok undoubably I'm going to debunked for this theory but what the hell..so here goes..so you can give your opinion.
my theory is this a black begins as a super massive star that has burned up all its energy but before the final supernova there is a very dense central object. rotating at very high speed upon the final supernova this energy speeds this central core to faster than light. its outer surface is moving faster than light but getting slower as it reaches each pole.
now if the object is travelling faster than light it will have a tendency to rip the fabric of the universe thus creating a gap between it and the outside universe except closer to each pole of object where the surface is moving slower at these two points energy will be released the reason why we cant see light is that light needs a medium to travel same as sound or throwing a peeble in a pool take away that medium and light cannot escape. there are no wormholes just a very sold object in our universe.

This is something that I have been researching for the last few days after a strange thought ran across my mind.

Have we as humans really landed on the moon? If so, why has there not been an anniversary or second exploration of the desolate planet?

It is very weird to me that with so much technology such as GPS tracking, sonar, solar energy and a list of other magnificent technologies, that now in 2007 we are not building things on the moon, landing on other planets, and having space launches for folks across the globe to view space and other planets.

It is also strange to me how we can build space suites to withstand the pressure of outer space, but we can not develop a machine or humanoid suit to withstand the pressure of our deep blue seas.

Hopefully you guys can shine a little bit of light on the situation. What do you think?

1st of all, im just a 15 year old highskul student kid and im very curious about UFO's and stuffs...Before, I dont beliv about UFOs but due 2 my curiosity, i began 2 search on the net and I now beliv dat theres something out there. when u talk about ufo, people will laugh behind ur back and there goes ur carrer.

The Universe is built up of billions of stars and galaxy. Life and civilization is possible out there that is thousands of years ahead of us and also in termss of their technology..antigravity and etc.. Maybe some of u doesnt know that NASA, US military and other govt' are keeping the secrets and hiding them for decades & decades.

I recommend ya'll to see the video in youtube or search in wikipedia about "UFO DISCLOSURE PROJECT"

recently, i found some pictures of the moon and i noticed some were airbrushed by nasa. i looked like alien bases. then i visited youtube and found videos..so yea. NASA is hiding dirty secrets.

Is God inside the entrance of where the big bang took place? is he in outerspace if we enter the blackhole and find his heaven?
On the history channel I found out that our universe (space) is expanding at a very rapid rate. is it possible that one day we can find an exit in outerspace...any exit in space that can lead us into heaven or perhaps another dimension like ours or we will one day reach a different origin that shows us we have left outerspace, because we found an opening to escape the no oxygen place we call as "outerspace"? If you provide answers, please try to use simple terms, scientific vocabulary is difficult, it would take a long time to look up every word to understand what your post is really saying. Thanks and i'm just curious for answers here.
