What you find on YouTube is not scientific evidence. You must be careful when using the Internet for research, as the Internet contains a lot of fiction that's made to look like fact. This is a widespread problem with people of my generation: too many of us accept YouTube and similar sites as gospel. Even as I read some of the other answers here, I notice an incredible amount of illogic and blatantly wrong information (photos of the far side of the Moon are readily available).
You are correct that it is almost a mathematical certainty that there's other life out there. That does not mean that it has either the capability or the desire to travel to Earth.
NASA does not airbrush any of its photos. The scientists who analyze each image would easily detect such tampering. This is a misconception developed by the UFO crowd in a bid to discredit the government.

im wondering where the question is here?
ok yes you are correct in saying the universe is built of of billions upon billions of stars but... how would aliens get here? i believe in aliens... sheer probability proves it. i dont believe they have (know for fact they havent *cough*) ever come to earth though. time dilation would alter their reality so much that it would be impossible to land them at the time they wanted. the Alcubierre warp drive would easily be detected even by our wimpy instruments, due to the immense gravitational alterations.
there is nothing on the moon. there are rocks and craters. the moon cannot support life. thats just stupid to suggest. besides, anyone with a powerful enough telescope could see them if they were really there
i am 15 years old too, and i agree, you talk about how ufos are real, people are gonna laugh at you. its a proven fact that most UFO sightings are near military bases. they could very possibly be testing new weapons and such. the shock wave from the trinity test explosion (the first atomic bomb to go off in history) was felt 100 miles away. its very easy to assume something like that.
trust me... u wanna be put in an insane asylum? quit jabbering about UFOs. if you look at the logic of it, it makes absolutely no sense. makes less sense than seeing Santa Claus in a kilt without a shirt dancing the polka.
PS: we can be on the moon because its the closest thing in the solar system. also, yea you are right, the government doesnt tell people anything about aliens. why? BECAUSE THEY HAVENT FOUND ANY EITHER!!! god... why wont you people just accept that even if odds go against odds, in the 0.000000025% chance aliens have been here, the government wouldnt tell you anyways?. aliens have not been to earth. end of story

Understand that many people misuse the term "UFO". UFO's are Unidentified Flying Objects. There are many of them. Whenever you se something in the sky that you don't recognize, it's a UFO. They are mostly unusual lights and some hoaxes. But many people talk about UFO's as if they are are alien spacecraft.. You said that you noticed areas on lunar pictures that look like alien bases. Why do you say that? When and where have seen alien bases? How do you know what they would look like?

That is one of the roomers that is going around, if it isn't true about an alien Base on the Moon, why is it that NASA has not released many photos of the dark side of the Moon.
All the while while the two astronauts were on the surface of the Moon, the third astronaut was orbiting the Moon and taking photos, why is NASA hiding them from us?

Well you should worry about grammar before anything else.
I was hoping "Highskul" would of taught you that.
Who knows what is out there. Btw UFO doesn't mean alien it means we can't identify it. It could be some government airship or it can be anything else. Hence Unidentified Flying Object.
Where is this proof of pictures of the moon airbrushed? My way of thinking is if you can claim something you should be able to have enough proof to back up your statement. Your accusations without proof is like leaving my dog with food on top of the refrigerator, meaning its worthless to her!
Besides do we really want to know what is going on? Everyone would freak if they knew the truth. Somethings are better untouched.

ok for a 15 yr old you have a good deal of common sence and insight.
these are things I have known for a long time, my guess is that we are, and have been in contact with spieces from another system for a long time.
just for thought; why do the space shuttles need to be continually making trips to our International Space station?
why do we even need a space station? its true purpose has never been revealed. believe me when I say it is not the explanation the government gave....research...pure BS
here are some facts I do know.......back in the late '70's nasa revealed plans to Omni magazine for a colony or out post to be built on the moon, the artical said construction was to be completed by 1992 I believe, and that another colony or outpost was proposed to be built on Mars by 2012...
what struck me to be odd about this artical was that NASA and the government, generally have the tendency to announce plans for something about 2 years after the project has been completed....
I am not one of those UFO nuts, but I do know there is alot going on that the government doesnt want us to know.
I do believe that there is life on other planets in other systems, the galaxy, and Universe are far too large, with far too many stars that can support planets with life for there not to be.
it is my belief that the human race is not evolved enough to be let in on the universal truths that exist. a very large percentage of the population still believe in gods. and I think it is this belief that holds us back as a planetary race. Any moderately educated person can rationalize the fact that gods are an absurd and very primitive thought pattern.
And again, I think that once we evolve past this point we will be ready to accept other possibilities

There is no "alien base" on the moon. The moon has been mapped and they found nothing that looked like an alien base.

Hello my friend, this is WayneP contacting you. The moon is full of life. Not life that was born there but the Aliens Motherships hiding on it's darkside. Believe me they are there and our government knows all about it. We have crashed UFOs and we are learning about their technology everyday. We have also made deals with them that only our government knows about. Keep your eyes to the sky, they will be here soon!

If there isn't something on the dark side of the Moon that the Government doesn't want us to see, that would be the best reason why NASA does not release the photos of the dark side.
In the days that the one Astronots orbited the moon weighting for the other two astronots to come back from the surface, what was he doing all this time?
I would be willing to bet he was taking a bunch of photos.
