I'm aware of the fact that galaxies are in motion, but why is it that we don't see them as moving? As in you look through a telescope, find a galaxy, and it looks like its just sitting there. (note: i've never actually seen a galaxy through a telescope, ARE they actually moving when you look at them? i'm almost certain there not, but I don't want to sound like an idiot if i'm wrong on the whole thing.)

and since our galaxy is in motion, why doesn't our view of "extragalactic" objects change as our system moves and changes position through the milky way?

There is a 2-hour online free movie that seems to be of very high quality, similar to "What The Bleep Do We Know" that alleges that all religions are "the same" more or less, and are just based on astronomy.

http://zeitgeistmovie.com/

There are three major parts in that movie.

How accurate are the "facts" alleged in Zeitgeist 2007 The Movie?

Imagine if you had a black hole the size of an inch. How much do you think it will suck in, how strong do you think its gravitational pull will be, and do you think if it will grow? Just a random question but it seems really weird to think about. Thanks for offering ideas for our brains to ponder on.

I see that we are working on floating base stations, etc. Why not create one on the moon which would be stationary and easier to operate on???

This is my theory:

Absense -----> Caved--------> Close
Nothing ------> Equilibrium----> Neutral >>> Centerpoint (Higgs Field, 0 spin)
Limit ---------> Bound--------> Open

TIME EXPANSION >>>>
Hubble Constant ~ 81! ~ 10^120
Elements swapping characteristics in same region ---> Summation = (0, 0, 0) ---> Three spatial dimensions ---> Spatial Filling ---> Differentiation and separation ---> Three completely opposing dark matter halos (like in the Millennium Simulation).

Lowest Quantum Time (Planck Time, 10^-44 seconds)

Self Reliancy = Gravitational Force
Simultaneous Elements' Permutation = Weak Nuclear Force
Close-Open Opposition = Electromagnetic Force
Equilibrium Behavior = Strong Nuclear Force
Nothingness ----> Unstableness ----> Time ----> Decay
Dark Matter = Closed Set ~ 25 %
Dark Energy = Equilibrial (Summation of close and open) and open sets ~ 75 %

Dark energy travels faster than dark matter because there is more dA/dt to travel.

What is your theory?

Right now the radiation is Microwaves and in many years it will be radio waves. So 1) does this mean if i but on microwave glasses i could see the radiation (i know it is faint) and if i could what would it look like? And Number 2. Would there have been a time when the radiation was say Yellow wisable light? If there was how would we have "seen" it?

...time variations caused by the distance vast distance differences between everything...do we extrapolate? Do computers have that capability...to map a billion different objects that all have millions of different time sequences that would seem to me to have to each be individually calculated...?

why do pictures of the Earth look like that from space, somewhat upside down, it looks as though it could fall off. But when you are standing on Earth; land looks linear and flat with no curving.
