From the book Dark Moon--Apollo & The Whistleblowers by Percy & Bennett, page 289: "As Whistle-Blower Kaysing has said: "If I am wrong in my claim that we did not go to the Moon with Apollo---any of these astronauts, with their hands-on experience and technical knowledge of the event---would be able to demolish my theory within five minutes."

"Although Kaysing is still waiting and still happy to debate the matter with any of the Apollo astronauts, so far, there have been no takers. According to David Wise, the author of The Politics Of Lies, at least 25% of the American population also think that the Moon landings were faked. The Mori poll concluded the figure was nearer to 30%!

Kaysing had worked for Rocketdyne (contractors to NASA). Kaysing was head of technical publications in the Propulsion Field Laboratory in the Simi Hills, California from 1956 until 1963. He has been blowing a loud whistle for many years and has written a book about the Apollo Hoax.

Added detail: Personally, I have a thought or a theory, that the large civilisation stone circle people who lived in the British Isles, and France and Belgium, at around 2,000 - 4,000BC, and probably earlier, who didnt leave any kind of writing, had a name! from the people who lived outside that civilisation, and that name would probably have been "O", obviously representative of the shape of their circles.

Going on a bit more, it is known conventionally that writing is developed from numbers, which were known to have developed from recording debts of exchange (money). Hence from this,it can be deduced that this was a large sharing civilisation. Circles are representative of community, community bonding ie. people holding hands in a circle, which our voluntary group sector uses as their chief symbol today the world over. It means zero, no score, no competition, it means love, community, sharing. and abundance

The light takes many years to reach us, so does that mean our sight of the sun is what the sun was like many years ago.

I know it's instant but it's strange becuase light is so fast that it's also practically instant.

What made them so special that they could withstand cosmic radiation and the extreme temperature shifts between shadow and full sunlight while they were being used on the baldly exposed surface of the moon? I've read an interview with a Hasselblad spokesman where he mentions that although they were barely modified from the Earth bound versions, they each had a few coats of aluminum/silver paint (?)... but that doesn't strike me as something which would offer a considerable degree of protection, or in fact virtually any protection whatsoever. Also it's been stated by authorities that they used a "special emulsion" with the film... but as far as I can tell they've never ever said what---exactly---was so special about it.

So what was so special about it? Or is it a trade secret and therefore unavailable to the public? I just want a basic explanation that isn't totally vague and useless in the vein of "Trust them, they're experts."

Anyone?

There's probably a simple answer for this that I'm just not seeing... but...
They say the moon looks larger when it's on the horizon because of the way the human brain works.
So why then are photos taken of said moon in said position (horizon) showing up on photos as just as large on the photos themselves, just as our human minds would see it? Wouldn't it show up as it really is on a photo, as the camera is not affected by this human trait?
