i really hate to do this, but...

650 / 20 = 32.5km/h

32.5 / (3600 seconds /1000 meters) = 9.03 m/s

(/ = divided by)

Can you really not do that yourself?

You have the distance covered in a number of hours, so you can easily calculate the distance covered per hour, which is the speed in km/h.

Then you know how many metres there are per km, and how many seconds there are per hour, so you can easily convert to m/s.

Now let's see how many people actually give you the answers so that you really don't have to think for yourself, thereby undermining the whole point of getting an education in which such questions as this are set....

Yup, two answers in ten minutes that just give you the answers without telling you how those answers are derived. What a wonderful way to teach.

A short education to all US friends who have such a hard time to use international units in a correct way:

m/s means meters per second (not miles per second)

km/h is the correct spelling of kilometers per hour.

kph or kmph or Kmph are non-existing SI units.

There is still a long way to go for the USA to become compatible to international standards. The US is the only "island" which is still unable to use international units in daily life.
