Average V=(V1+V2)/2 = (10m/s +30m/s)/2 = 20 m/s
Acceleration = (V2-V1)/t = (30m/s - 10m/s) / 20s = 1 m/s^2
Dist = (V1+V2)/2 * t = (10m/s + 30m/s)/2 * 20s = 400 m

Oh for heaven's sake! Have you even tried applying your brain to this question before blindly posting it here hoping someone will help you cheat on your homework? All the information you need to answer that question is in the question, and the whole point of having these questions is so you learn how to do them.

You have the speed at the beginning and the speed at the end, so you can work out the average of those speeds. You have the difference in velocity, and you have the time period over which this change took place, which tells you the acceleration. You worked out the average speed earlier, and you have the time period, so you can work out the distance. Go do it.

accelleration: 1 m/s (30-10 = 20 / 20 (sec))
average speed 20 m/s (30 + 10 / 2)
distance: 20 meters (1 meter per second accelleration multiplied by 20 seconds in time...)

you should really figure this out yourself, it's quite easy...

This is ASTRONOMY & SPACE.

It is not the MY HOMEWORK section.

You and your lazy brain are headed for a great job as "Hamburger Flipper" at Mickey D's. And you deserve it.
