What I mean is, do all stars have their own revolving planets?

Can more then one star be in a single solar system? (I thought the very definition of solar system meant 1 star + revolving planets...?

If not, what would that body of space be called?

Apologies for the somewhat vague question - my spacebar is broken so typing is rather a pain. This question alone has taken me 10 minutes to write.

I'm 15 BTW.

any response will be greatly appreciated..

if man was able to land on the moon nearly 40 years ago in a craft that landed perfectly without any hitch, why wasnt the same or better technology used for the rovers' (Spirit and Opportunity) landing? Instead of the airbag cushioned landing?

As far as we know, is time present in all known universes? And if time is real, where does it go to when we say "time goes by?" Is there a certain location for it or for "them" ( the events, the minutes, the hours, etc) ?

But, if you look far far away and say you see a star burn out, wouldn't you be looking into the future...because you wouldn't normally know it until later when the last light would naturally reach Earth..like they say..if our sun burned out..we wouldn't know it for 4 minutes..So if we looked far enough to meet the light...it would sort of be the past(the event already happened) and the future because we saw it sooner(with telesopes) than nature would have us see it..........am I crazy
