They usually take between one and two days to match orbits with the space station. On rare occasions, when the space station happens to be passing over the launch site just as the shuttle is launched, they could dock in just an hour or two. But that nice alignment is quite rare and so the shuttle usually is launched when the station is not ideally positioned and then chase it for quite a while to match orbits.

It just takes a few minutes to reach low-Earth orbit but it generally take about two days to reach the space station to line up with it and its speed. Then it have to carefully dock it into the Space Station.

After it reaches orbit, it takes one or two days to align its speed with that of the space station, and then approach for linkup.
