There's no current information over whether Mars actually contains life or pre-existing simple organisms, but there does seem to be a strong consensus within the science community over the possibility of life outside this planet. To date, in Mars we've only found pictures of supposed 'ravines' where water might've flowed over a year or so before eroding the valley (once believed to be left perfect in the absence of sandstorms)

From explanations such as the quantum mechanics which concerns itself over the quanta properties of small participles, life cannot possibly exist. How life developed on this planet is not just hard to understand but beyond comprehension. How did matter and space come into the picture?

Ok so I kinda feel like a freak for asking this..but I think It's kind of a cool topic to talk about...I've always wondered if there was other galaxy's out there with life on them...Like what if there is another world out there just like earth? Or a totally different one with wierd aliens on it. I personally feel like there is more out in the universe than just our life..i mean ITS HUGE. they're are soo many galaxy's. Ok so i know this is not really a question..but i just want to see what other people have to say about it.

But wouldn't it be cool if there was and one day we could just hop on a rocket ship and go see it?

I was reading a debate between Francis Collins and Richard Dawkins and Dawkins had no current valid response to Collins when collins stated that if the laws of the universe especially gravity was off by a tenth, life could not exist...and that that should be proof for intelligent design....any thoughts?

Here is an opportunity to share just one book, the book you consider most useful to a back yard astronomer. My choice is "Burnham's Celestial Handbook an Observer's Guide To the Universe Beyond the Solar System in Three Volumes" by Robert Jr. Burnham

Despite its age (1979) these books provide us amateurs with a wealth of accurate information about stellar and deep-sky objects constellation by constellation. I particularly like the detailed stellar images which allow me using my dobsonian to star hop to deep-sky objects. I have found very few books to rival my beloved Burnham's.

What is your one pick?

are there flying cars in the future? I know they have one now. (not airplanes). There was also an anti gravity device created by a scientist but the Government covered it up.(figures).
Why cant they work on that, make it smaller, then put it in the flying car? Not a money issue either, uncle sam has enough to pay off our debt if they wanted too. it was just all a set number to figure by. They have the print shop for the money right there..LOL just kidding
