Okay, all you smart dudes...
here goes...We are talking about space, and a lot of orbiting bodies moving this way and that with some observed manner of repitition. So time is revalent to locating any particular point where something will arrive at a precise moment.
And the dimensions are:
Asimuth
Elevation
Distance
Time
the first three get you pointed in the right direction, and the fourth permits the Earth you are standing upon to rotate around so that you will see what exact point you wish to see
when something of interest is predicted (based upon previous observations) to appear.
That is the real truth, and not some hypothetical or theoretical junk.
There is, for example, no point in looking for haley's comet unless you enter in the time of its next appearance.

The 4 dimensions of space can be labeled X, Y, Z and time. Except for time, it is arbitrary which dimension is labeled which. The 3 "spatial" dimensions can be thought of as forward/backward, left/right, and up/down.
One interesting note: Many scientists believe that space actually has more than 4 dimensions, maybe as many as 10.

Well the four dimensions of our world are the following:
3 spacial dimentions (width, length, depth) and time. However recent theories such as string theory and hypergravity claim that there are much more dimensions (11 to be precise) but most of them have been warped in very small space (inside the atoms) leaving the 4 dimensions we know.

Ok, let it be clear to you. Time can NOT be the fourth dimension, along with X, Y and Z. Why? Cuz time is a "thing" created by humans. And why? We, as humans, need to know when an event will happen or has happened. X, Y and Z direction aren't created by humans. We have divided the space in three direction. So if you really want to know what the 4th dimension is, first you have to be able to observe the 4th dimensional space. But we humans are a 3-D "living beings", so for us it's impossible to observe it!

It is also theorized that there may be many more dimensions, but they haven't been proven yet!
