The killer asteroid is supposed to pass earth within the moon's orbit. Nothing specifies the phase that the moon is in, so I thought "What if the rock hits the moon? Will we not have a moon?"

If we have no moon or a smaller moon as a result from collision w/ the asteroid, what do you think effects on Earth would be?

It can't just be coincidence that all of the planets we know of are all in a practically straight line. What causes it? Maybe the Sun isn't perfectly spherical or something like that? I can't seem to find any answers on the internet.

The Pleides Star system, ever heard of it? Some say Aliens came from that area. What do you think? I don't believe that, but I love astronomy. What about you?

In about 4-5 billion years, the Sun will run out of hydrogen fuel and will start expanding and turning into a Red Giant. Temperatures on Earth will reach thousands of degrees, the sunlight will become blindingly bright, our oceans and atmosphere will evaporate, we might get swallowed up by this Red Giant... pretty much, if we stay on Earth, we're doomed. Do you think humankind will be around to see that happen? If so, what do you think we will do about it?

Ahhh, so depressing...

Hi, i know this will be very wierd question and no one will be able to answer accurately.

Based on the theory of relativity, as the speed of object increase distance in 3-D decreases (warping of distance occurs).. If i travel with the speed of light -- time will come to halt...My question is what will happen to space ? space will not exists, it will be completely warped, it cannot exists even as a point, (not the ideal definition of point being hyphothetical unit which occupy 0 space and is indivisible)..
Moreover light -- which travel with the speed of light-- how space will be defined for it -- it won't exist according to this theory...
