The Pleides Star system, ever heard of it? Some say Aliens came from that area. What do you think? I don't believe that, but I love astronomy. What about you?

Maybe in the movies, but so far eveything we've found that's been alive came from good old Earth. No intellegent alien lifeforms have been found from space, and thanks to the distances involved we probably never will.

Oh, I love astronomy, but I have never heard of the Pleides Star system. And since nobody knows for sure if aliens do exist, the theory might not be true.

Indeed, in my part of the world it is called the "small saucepan". It is the insignia for Subaru Motors.

Although it is called a "star system", it only looks like a system from earth's perspective. No doubt the stars are as far apart from eachother as we are from each of them.

Yes, I love astronomy too, and I doubt that aliens came from there to earth.

Yes, we've heard of it. It's the second-closest star cluster to Earth, after the Hyades. It's well-studied. We have no evidence of aliens. If you love astronomy, great! We can always use more astronomers. But don't expect to be studying aliens.

If you want to find aliens - two of the most likely places to find them would be in Los Angeles or the White House!!!

Yes, I have. I have looked at it with my telescope and my binoculars. The Pleides are only 50 million years old. That is not long enough for planets to form, and definitely not life.

"Billy" Eduard Albert Meier (born February 3, 1937) is a citizen of Switzerland and contactee. He is also the source of over 1000 photographs of objects claimed to be UFOs. Billy claims regular contact with the Plejaren, a group of extraterrestrials, and presents much spiritual and philosophical information from these meetings. He describes the Plejaran as humans much like the humans of Earth.

Background
A farmer born in the Swiss Lowlands, Meier says his first extraterrestrial contacts occurred in 1942 at the age of five with an elderly extraterrestrial human man named Sfath.[1] Contacts with Sfath lasted until 1953. From 1953 to 1964 Meier's contacts continued with an extraterrestrial human woman named Asket. [2] After an eleven year break, contacts resumed again (beginning on January 28, 1975) with an extraterrestrial human woman named Semjase[3] the granddaughter of Sfath.

In his teens Meier joined the French Foreign Legion but soon left it and returned home. He traveled extensively around the world pursuing spiritual exploration, covering some forty-two countries over twelve years. In 1965 he lost his left arm in a bus accident in Turkey. In 1966 he met and married a Greek woman, Kalliope, with whom he has three children. The nickname "Billy" came by way of an American friend who thought Meier dressed like James Butler Hickok a.k.a. Wild Bill Hickok. [citation needed]

Meier has created a large collection of controversial photographs. He claims that these photos show spaceships (called beamships) as well as extraterrestrials (humans called the Plejaren). Meier says that the Plejaren have given him permission to photograph [4] and film their beamships in order to produce some of the best evidence for extraterrestrial visitation of Earth [5].

These claims are disputed by both UFO skeptics [6] and some UFO believers [7], who argue that the photographs could easily be faked [8] and are unpersuasive. However, proponents of Meier have claimed[9] that no skeptic has yet been able to truly 'fake' a Meier photograph, in all the fine details, even using modern technology such as Adobe Photoshop or Hollywood special effects.

Many Meier-proponents and -believers among UFO enthusiasts exist, and his information and evidence have seen increased exposure through, among other things, the efforts of a designated American representative, Michael Horn, [10] who has made appearances on popular late-night paranormal shows such as Coast to Coast AM.

[edit] Contact
Beginning in 1975, Meier began his official contacts ("official" in that evidence was to be provided publicly, unlike earlier contacts), communicating both directly (face-to-face) and by telepathic means with a core group of the Pleiadeans/Plejarens, or Errans as he also refers to them (Erra being their planet in the Pleiades), who gave their names as Ptaah, Semjase,Quetzal, and Pleija, among numerous others (remember that J is pronounced Y in German).

These visitors reportedly hail from a star system beyond the Pleiades in a dimension that is a fraction of a second in the future from our dimension (an alternate timeline. These Plejaren have afforded Meier a more interesting sampling of evidence than derive from most such encounters, including highly detailed photography, film, multi-toned sound recordings, the temporary use of a weapon, which he employed for trial on a nearby tree, and metal alloy samples.

Meier said the visitors charged him with certain informational and consciousness-raising tasks. As he undertook this mission he met with a strong deal of scorn and derision, including, his center says, twenty-one assassination attempts, including some by hostile extraterrestrial entities, which were met in significant part with the help of his Plejaren friends. Meier was uncomfortable with the megalomaniacal associations others would attach to his role as a representative, since they employed the term "prophet", but undertook the effort nonetheless.

In 1975 Meier established FIGU (Freie Interessengemeinschaft für Grenz- und Geisteswissenschaften und Ufologiestudien), a German abbreviation for the Free Community of Interests for the Fringe and Spiritual Sciences and UFOlogical Studies, a non-profit organization for the benefit of researchers into this field, and headquartered it at the Semjase Silver Star Center.

[edit] Topics
Meier claims that he was instructed to transcribe the conversations he has with the various extraterrestrial humans, some of which have been published in the German language. These books are referred to as the Contact Notes (or Contact Reports). Currently there are eight volumes of the Contact Reports (titled Plejadisch-Plejarische Kontaktberichte) available from the FIGU publishing house Wassermannzeit-Verlag. Some of the Contact Reports were translated into English, extensively edited and expurgated, and published in the out-of-print four-volume set Message From The Pleiades by Meier case investigator Wendelle Stevens. Meier's discussions with the Plejarens are highly detailed and wide-ranging, affording a fascinating body of claims running from religion and the afterlife to human history to science and astronomical phenomena to ecology and environmental dangers and even prophecies of future historic trends and events. Some of the numerous topics discussed include Atlantis, Agharta, astral travel, the Bermuda Triangle, crystals, UFOs/beamships, other dimensions, crop circles, parallel Earth, earthquakes, energy/matter, the Great Flood, gravity, Greek gods, God (Jehovah), Creation, hyperspace, past inter-stellar wars, Jmmanuel (also known as "Jesus Christ"), Moses, Noah, levitation, humanity's origins, meditation, the Moon, prophets on Earth, pyramids, Sumerians, time travel, Neanderthals, oil, magnetic poles, ice ages, religion, the Asteroid Belt, the Thule Society, German UFOs, negatively-intentioned extraterrestrials, evolution, Earth's history, the Easter Island moai, the Aztecs, the Bible, astrology, "the Beast"/"Anti-Christ"/666, atomic structure, Ashtar Sheran (false teachings of), American-held UFO evidence, UFO crashes, giants, Yeti/Bigfoot/Sasquatch, reincarnation, Sirius, Zeta Reticuli, tunnels of Ecuador, Mt. Shasta ETs, overpopulation, the ozone layer depletion, peace, neutral-positive thinking, etc., etc.

An additional aspect of the Meier case is the highly controversial book the Talmud Jmmanuel. The book was originally published in German in 1975 and is now being prepared for its 4th edition in the English language. It is said to be the translation of ancient Aramaic scrolls that were discovered by Meier and a colleague in Jerusalem in 1963. The book claims to be the original teachings and life events of the man named Jmmanuel (falsely called "Jesus Christ"). Extensive study has been made of the book by James Deardorff, much of which is available on his website, and in his book "Celestial Teachings" (currently undergoing revision for its second edition).

[edit] Criticism and controversy

[edit] The photographs and films
Some of the most important evidence for Meier's claims come from his large collection of photographs. These include images of UFOs in the Swiss countryside, the Apollo-Soyuz 1975 docking, and distant astronomical phenomena. Critics claim that these images could be easily faked (Sheaffer 1998:34) and some have provided examples of similar photos [1]. The Apollo-Soyuz docking was shown to be a photograph of an animation on television (Korff 1995:240-44). Supporters respond that the images are exceptionally high quality and that a one-armed man would have been unable to create such remarkable fakes. However, prominent UFO proponents such as Stanton Friedman and Jacques Vallee have called the photos outrageous hoaxes. Meier's ex-wife says that she has seen the models used to fake the photos (Sheaffer 1998:34).

Some photos are particularly controversial, including some alleged space encounters and time travel photos. Many of these appear to be photos taken from science fiction books, paintings and television programs (the females Asket and Nera) (Korff 1995:245-47). Meier claims that these photos were altered by intelligence agencies and slipped into his collection in order to discredit his UFO case (Korff 1995:297, 307-9). Also, some of these photographs documentedly have no connection to Meier whatsoever, and were produced by his enemies and critics in an attempt to discredit him. See (German link): Falsche Saurier photos stammen nicht von Billy Meier

Other allegations include:

focus and light-direction problems are consistent with cut-and-paste and model work (Korff 1995:169-93, 208-13, 245-47),
one "beamship" appears to be a pie tin and another shows small machine bolts in the bottom [citation needed],
a picture of his Pleiadian alien contact Semjase was a model from a Sears catalog[citation needed], and another Pleiadian was an actress from the Dean Martin TV Show[2].
Perhaps the most damning evidence in the skeptics' view was submitted from a reporter investigating Meier's story, who claims to have found negatives clearly showing the models on a table. Meier explains these as being test photos to assist investigators attempting to reconstruct the possibility of faked photographs[citation needed].

[edit] The metal samples
The metal alloy samples which were given to Meier by the Plejarens were handed to Wendelle Stevens who then had them tested by scientist Marcel Vogel. However, no such metal exists today, and there is no corroborative backing to the alleged analysis done by Vogel. Vogel claimed the metal strangely vanished not long after his work was completed, well before any other scientist could examine it.

[edit] Exposure of fraudulent "contactees"
In the Contact Report discussions between Meier and the Plejarens, there is no hesitation in pointing out fraudulent "contactees" and exposing their deceptions. This has raised concern among some who consider certain UFO contact cases as reliable and authentic, and view the remarks by Meier and the Plejarens as attacks. Some well known contactees that have been thus criticized as being frauds include George Adamski [3], and Raël (Claude Vorilhon) [4], Howard Menger [5]. Additionally, Meier has often stated that he alone is the only human being on Earth having contact with the Plejarens (previously known as Pleiadians), and that anyone claiming otherwise is a liar, a charlatan, or suffering from some form of schizophrenia. This negates claims by many persons who insist that they have had (or continue to have) contact in one form or another with "Pleiadians", including such channelers as Barbara Hand Clow, Jani King, Barbara Marciniak, and "Amorah Quan Yin".

[edit] The ET contact person Semjase
There is also a potentially disturbing detail concerning the name of the female alien "Semjase", which sounds similar to the Confederate el Samyaza the heaven-seizer, as described in the Second Temple Book of Enoch, purportedly the one who originated and orchestrated the invasion program recorded in Genesis 6 (See: Nephilim). The Book of Enoch describes how some of these beings, led by Samyaza, decided to interfere with Adamic humanity, giving them arts of magic, writing, and technology. The Nephilim are described in Genesis as "men of renown", an interbreeding of the "Sons of Elohim" with the "daughters of men" (for which, JH floods portions of the Earth to halt Nephilim influence, and, as some Orthodox Jews and recently some Evangelical Christian scholors say, so as to allow the Messiah to be born, suggesting a strategic, historical motive behind this seemingly pointless act of lust). Furthermore, the Watchers appear in other texts regarded as apocrypha, and are sometimes even regarded as a previously-created form of humanity, or "Celestial Sons". Meier fans counter that the spelling is different and just because the names sound the same doesn't mean they are, just like Robert & Roberta. Second, Semjase is a female, and their is acknowledged a Semjaza who is the same as in Enoch, a male completely different human ET who apparently fathered the Teutonic race) (as stated in the Plejaren Om, Cannon 31).

Meier himself speaks of two human males named 'Semjasa' who influence the Earth in much the same way as described in the Book of Enoch, a text that he says was altered for religious purposes. The first Semjasa, who lived around 389,000 years ago, interbred with native Earth-humanity, creating a lineage. The second Semjasa, said to be the same spirit-form in another human male, lived about 11,000 years ago and, as a remnant of Atlantis, seeded an Earth-human lineage, an inter-breeding of the Atlanteans with the wild humans of North Africa, Mesopotamia, and Northern India. This, it is stated in the Contact Notes (see Contact 9), was the origin of the Three Peoples: the original Armenians, the Ancient Hebrews, and the Aryans.

According to Billy Meier, the name 'Semjase' or 'Semjasa' simply means 'Semi-JHWH', referring to the JHWH, the highest rank and title in Lyran-descended societies. In both historical cases, Semjasa was said to be of lesser rank than the JHWH, being a 'Semi-JHWH', so the name could be associated with the title as well.

[edit] World War Three
Billy Meier has repeatedly warned of an impending Third World War beginning in November of either 2006, 2008, 2010, or 2011 if the USA and Israel continue their war crimes and international interference in the policies of other nation-states. This is part of the Henoch Prophecies, widely considered to be one of his most important Contacts, which also allegedly predicted the September 11, 2001 attacks on the WTC and Pentagon almost two decades before they occurred. He, and through him Ptaah, still hold that this disaster is imminent if Israel and the USA are not stopped on their rampage through the Middle-East. He has also denounced the terroristic activities and vigilante behaviours of various Muslim extremist groups, which he says only foments the possibility for war. At present, Billy's Contacts suggest that this November (2006) is the most likely time for the beginning of World War III, if measures are not undertaken to stop the USA and Israel. According to his latest reports, the 2006 Israel-Lebanon Conflict is very possibly only the beginning of what will eventually spiral into full-fledged World War by 2008, if the major first event begins this November. [6] He has said, specifically, that 4 world-leaders will die within 7 days of one another in November of some year (see above), and that this is the sign that World War III has begun.
