From our perception here on earth, it would appear to end at where space and time begins. Remember that because the speed of light is finite, you can look at a galaxy that's 10 billion light-years away and you'll actually see it AS IT WAS 10 billion years ago....so theoretically, you can look back to the beginning of time itself. You can't see that far away and perceive anything as it is NOW. So the CURRENT limits are quite unknown...if there are indeed any.

That is one of those infinite questions. There cannot be anything beyond those limits if you actually found an end to the universe....

Some theorists say that the Universe is constantly expanding and growing...which would imply that there is nothing out there past the point to which it's already grown.

THE CURRENT THEORY IS UNIVERSE IS A LIKE EGG SHAPE SPHERE AND HAVE A BOUNDARY OF TIMELESS SPACE. THEREAFTER ANOTHER UNIVERSE BEGINS.BETWEEN 2 UNIVERSE FIRE AND WATER MAY EXIST(READ PURANA). THERE ARE MILLION MILLION UNIVERSE IN THE SPACE. OVERALL IT(SPACE) IS E N D L E S S.

the universe is a closed system. nothing exists beyond it. the universe does have a size. however, there is no "bigger" universe that it exists in.
