To answer your second question first (I'm just an ornery cuss), Pluto is still a member of the Solar System. It's no longer considered a planet, though. It is now called a dwarf planet because of its size and extremely anomalous orbit (so look it up already).Just like the moon. asteroids, etc. it is still part of the Solar System.

As to the 1st part of your question-------Usually, as long as Mickey gives him table scraps instead of that crap from the can.Woof!Woof!

Pluto has been made the King of Asteroids and discarded from the Planet Kingdom. It's a shame it's not a planet anymore.

I know I'm happy about it, because I have an "antique" physics book that my grandfather gave me which was written before Pluto was discovered, so now it is correct again when it says there are 8 planets in our solar system!

I guess it just shows how scientific theories ebb and flow!

I don't think Pluto gives a rats-A. But I am sure that Clyde Tombaugh, the person who discovered it in 1930 as well as many other astronomers are beyond displeased about the announcement. As an amateur astronomer myself, Pluto is a planet.

easily not. I intend to jot down my Congressman and press for a decision that usa amplify finished planetary acceptance to Pluto. i'm not likely to enable the final 76 years grow to be an astronomical lie sitting down.

At present it's a "dwarf planet" or something like that. It must be a bummer to be arbitrarily demoted that way.

I feel bad for pluto :-( it is now just a "satelite" instead of a planet.

Indifferent! It was "freeloading" until recently.
