Just hearing the clock strike midnight made me wonder what becomes of the day that's just been replaced by another. Where does it go? Is it possibly recycled or reincarnated at some point? If you have any idea, please let me know.

I am working on a computer programming animation project and need the eliptical formulas that represent the orbits of all the planets. If anyone knows where I can find these and not the general ((Ta/Tb)^2)=((ra/rb)^3) formula or Keplers Laws please let me know.

I'm doing a science report and I need some answers...(I'm doing it on Venus, obviously)All I want to know is:
1) What Venus was like
2)What you guys suspect Venus will be like in oh...a million years?
Is that enough time for it to signifigantly change(If it will at all)?

i understand that ftl travel is not possible (at this point in human history, anyway). that being the case and that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, do you think that at some distant time we will be able to generate enough gravity in an object (ship?) in order to bend spacetime around on itself so that an object say 25 million light years away would simply be a short step, like going through an ajoining room door in an hotel??

I was at Borders and saw a book called Logical Universe and the author is offering a reward to anyone who can provide evidence that gravity is from objects pulling on one another.

given that we see cyles everywhere in nature, does it not seem perfectly logical that the universe would have a cyle of life and death? i mean in the context of a universe that expands, reaches a critical point and starts to contract again? i understand that at the moment there is not enough identifiable material to allow this to happen. thoughts and conjectures please. i would also like to carry this discussion on outside the answers section. feel free to contact me directly.
