Current theory is that the Universe is finite.
Current theory is the there are no boundaries.
You might be wondering how this is possible. An analogy is often made to the surface of a sphere or a toroid (like a donut): there is a finite amount of surface area on a donut, but if you were an ant crawling on that donut, you'd never run into an edge or boundary.
Donuts are three dimensional objects, but the ant is stuck to the surface. It experiences the world in 2 dimensions (not really, but for the sake of argument).
Similarly, humans can only perceive three spacial dimensions. It is thought that the universe is curved back on itself in another dimension, just like the donut's surface curves back on itself in the third dimension. As a human stuck on the three dimensions you can perceive, you can travel around the finite volume of the universe, but never hit a boundary.

There are many answers to this one and I will tell you about each one.
INFINITE UNIVERSE STEADY STATE THEORY - this theory says that the universe in infinite and has no boundries and will remain the same for ever. (NOTE : THIS THEORY IS HIGLY UNLIKELY)
EXPANDING UNIVERSE BIG BANG THEORY - this theory says that the universe was born at an instant of time and has been expanding ever since. the speed of expansion is the speed of light so we can NEVER REACH THE END OF THE UNIVERSE.
FOUR-DIMENSIONAL SPACE THEORY-
this is the most likely theory of all.
imagine a two-dimensional creature living on a three-dimensional baloon. then if it keeps traveling it will come back to the place where it started and since it is a two dimensional it cannot leave the ballon. though the ballon has no boundries it cannot leave the ballon. this theory says the we (3 dimensional creatures) are living in a 4 dimensional ballon - like universe. so even though our universe has no physical boundries we cannot leave it.

It can't be infinite because there is no 1/2 to infinity, so if you can't make a fraction out of infinity, then how can you have kilometres. It would be irrelevant. So the logical explanation is there is no infinity.
