I just think it seems a little strange that we look at the countries like we do... America on the left, England in the middle, China & Australia etc on the right, when really the map could have an upside down iceland as the focus point for example!! I do understand that the North & South Poles have to be North and South obviously, but who says that North has to be upwards, when if your in space the north pole is still the north pole, it just might be on the left, the right or wherever?! So why do Globe's, maps etc illustrate it always on top?
Thanks!

My immediate thought was photosynthesis, but surely that only makes carbohydrates. Even though carbohydrates do give plants the energy to grow, i don't think thats the full answer. Does anyone know the name of the whole process or is there something else completely? I've searched everywhere trying to find an answer!

Obviously the Sun is bigger and further away than the moon. But it seems a massive coincidence to me that when we look up at an eclipse the Sun and the Moon are almost exactly the same size.

So far we can only get as far as the moon or to a space station. That's pretty damn boring. What materials/resources/energy sources would we need to build one that could go to mars, or beyond? I already know NASA is about done building a new one called Orion, but that will only go as far as the moon as well. Which is something we already did years ago. Maybe we will never get past the moon. Maybe we dont have the resources or intellect?

Recently scientists have found evidence that there exists a super massive black hole in the centre of all galaxies, not only active galaxies but calm ones like ours and andromeda which was previously not believed. All the particles in galaxy (like solar systems, binary systems, stars,) revelve around the centre of a galaxy which can be now explained that this is due to super massive black hole at the galaxy's center. But all the galaxies revolve around the centre of universe. So there must exist the most massive block hole at the centre of the universe. And also if it exists why is universe expanding? wont all the matter be compelled to be sucked in by this black hole and the universe contract? Please answer me if athe most massive black hole exists at centre of universe according to you and your reasons for saying so. Isnt astronomy so interesting?
