No. The discoverer of 2003 UB313, astronomer Mike Brown, was a fan of the show 'Xena: Warrior Princess' and nicknamed his discovery after her. When UB313 was found to have a satellite, it was nicknamed 'Gabrielle' after Xena's sidelick on the show.

Actually, 2003 UB 313 is not a planet under the new definition of a planet sponsored last month by the International Astronomical Union. It is considered, along with Pluto, a dwarf planet.

Actually, yes. He chose Xena as a nickname both because he (presumably) liked the show and because it begins with an X.

BTW, Pluto was also called Planet X before it got its official name. X just stands for unknown, not ten.
