If God created and inhabited Heaven and Earth, then why not Heaven and Mercury, Heaven and Venus, Heaven and Mars, Heaven and Jupiter, Heaven and Saturn, Heaven and Uranus (heh heh), and Heaven and Neptune?

mctfelton: Whatever--Why are they devoid of life? Why create planets which can't be lived on, and why not put life on them? Why just earth? Isn't he all powerful?

Doug Dona: Why didn't he make ALL the planets have an ecological system like Earth's? Why have those other planets if there is no life on them?

I think you are missing the point here mate.

God, our fake plastic idol who is loved by WAY too many people, did not infact create or inhabit any planet....'cause he isn't real!

Actually, the quote is that God created the heavenS, and the Earth. The heavens referring to the rest of the universe. The rest of the planets didn't get much mention in the bible, what with them being void of life, and all.

Doug I think you are confusing Gregor Johann Mendel (1822-1884) (dwarf pea plants, inherited characteristics and genetics) and Dimitri Mendeleev (1834-1907) (The Periodic Table of the chemical elements).

Because Earth was the only one with a well-developed ecological system that was following the basic laws of Mendeleevian genetics and Darwinian selection.

Since God is omnipresent, He is everywhere. Since he made the solar system/ universe/ whatever else is out there that we haven't discovered yet/ He can be anywhere He wants (and is everywhere)

It's not fair I tell you, it's just not fair...Pluto has as much right to be a planet as Mercury does!!

Yes, yes, He made them all.

And Pluto doesn't need your apologies, it's just an icy dwarf planet.
