I've been considering starting a paranormal investigation group. Although, I won't get it up and running all that quickly because there are a few items that I need, some equipment. Depending on what happens this year with things I may be able to get it up and running. I can get all equipment needed except for one thing that can waite for only $492.43 If I buy everything I need on Amazon.com. The things I need are as follows (along with amazon.com's price at the lowest):

Digital Voice Recorder-33.78
Digatal Camera (may not need)-61.99
Infered Camera's-39.99 per Camera (Estimated 3 or 4 would do)
Video Camera with Night Vision- 201.56
Digital Probe Thermomiter-45.14
Electromagnetic Field Detector and Mesurer-29.99

This one Item here would take some time to collect because of the price, with a lot of donations or a good pay check:

Thermal Imager-6,195.00

If anyone knows where I can get any of these for less then the prices stated above, let me know, and I'll check it out.

I know that the Bible says something about our planet being the center of the universe, but really now ....
There are billions of stars in our galaxy (the Milky Way) and there are billions of galaxies in our universe ... doesn't it only seem logical that there MUST be some other form of life out there?
I think that there IS life out there, but it's not necessarily the life that we would want to meet. If Life can create "monsters" like the dinosaurs, then I think there's some pretty scary stuff out there. Any one else feel me on this?

I am testing exposure guidelines for a new air coolant.

I run millions of dollars of tight experiments and conclude that the chemical is safe at two different toxicity levels in rats, rat livers and human livers.

I re-run the experiment using rabbits at the lowest toxicity level only...and I've lost 14 of the 48 bunnies already.

On day one, the rabbits appear fine.
By day two, they drop a considerable amount of weight.
By day three, they are emaciated and pass.

What are some possible reasons why my rabbits would die and not my rats?

If the rabbits are dying, but not the rats...how could I determine if this chemical is safe?

In which direction does it spin?
We've been told that it spins on north and south axies
if the Sun is stationary in repect to the earth the earth is rotating eastward cus we see the sun raise on the east.
knowing the earth spins eastwardly, if 2 planes on a run way in Florida going oppisite directions, 1 west, 1 east taking off at the same time, going the same speed arrive at the same time at Manila Ph. that would tell me the earth is not spinning but the sun is rotating around the earth and we've been lied too
Tell me what you all think :)

can some guide me into this problem, I totally don't understand.
i did the calculations and keep getting D.$4.50. would that be the correct answer?

Kara and Sonny went to see a movie at the local theater.

Kara paid $13.00 for 1 large box of popcorn and 2 large soft drinks.

Sonny paid $8.50 for 1 large box of popcorn and 1 large soft drink.

In the system of equations below, p represents the cost of 1 large box of popcorn and s represents the cost of 1 large soft drink.

p + 2s = 13.00
p + s = 8.50

What is the value of p, the cost of 1 large box of popcorn?

A. $4.00
B. $4.25
C. $4.30
D. $4.50

Expelled is a movie starring Ben Stein about scientists who share scientific data that goes against the theory of evolution...

Such scientists that “speak up” (regardless of their religious affiliation, or lack there of) and share such data are getting fired, lose their tenure, are rejected for publication, and are ridiculed and ostracized for even sharing such observational data.

Here is the trailer for Expelled:
http://www.expelledthemovie.com/playground.php

And here is Richard Dawkins quote:
“As a scientist, I am pretty hostile to a rival doctrine”

“Science” is derived from the Latin word scientia, which means “knowledge”, and specifically refers to a system of developing explanations for what we observe in the world. When observations would suggest something that goes against our underlying assumptions, science is not hostile to such data and teaching, but always bends a knee to observational data, rejects explanations that don’t fit, and attempts to develop a new explanation based on observational data.

So, what has happened to science?
