How do you think I should conduct my science fair project?

My science fair project is based on the allelopathic traits of a sunflower or a sweet potatoe. I have an idea but I want more.

Potato. If you learn nothing else from Mr. Quayle, learn that.

You could gring up sunflower or potato and place in petri dishes with moist paper towel and seeds and see if they germinate- or what percentage germinate... Compare to dish without potato or sunflower.
