I know that the Bible says something about our planet being the center of the universe, but really now ....
There are billions of stars in our galaxy (the Milky Way) and there are billions of galaxies in our universe ... doesn't it only seem logical that there MUST be some other form of life out there?
I think that there IS life out there, but it's not necessarily the life that we would want to meet. If Life can create "monsters" like the dinosaurs, then I think there's some pretty scary stuff out there. Any one else feel me on this?

Probably so, but will we ever know?

Yes, it does. There are over 200 billion stars in our galaxy alone, so it's close to a statistical certainty there's life and intelligent life out there. Even if only one in every million stars had a planet with life on it that still equals 200,000 planets with life in our galaxy alone. It would probably literally take divine intervention for Earth to be the only planet with life.

As for "scary" lifeforms there will undoubtedly be a great variety of life in the galaxy and yes, that will undoubtedly mean there are some quite impressive beasts on some planets. There might also be some very advanced technological civilizations out there, which might also qualify as "scary" in a different way.

There is no doubt in my mind there is life elsewhere in the galaxy, and the universe. They have found evidence of microbes on Mars that lived billions of years ago, so even in our own back yard there has been life in the past. You have to think about the fact that everything that lives on earth is carbon based, and the conditions here are rife for life that is carbon based. But, you have to think that there might be some other forms of life who are not carbon based and have adapted to different conditions elsewhere in the galaxy. So maybe we are looking in the wrong spots. And for the bible reference, The bible is a work of fiction and is not to be trusted for any evidence on anything scientific. It was merely written to explain things that no one had an explanation for 2,000 years ago. Now that we have an actual scientific method and tools and instruments to perform actual experiments, not just speculate, the bible is kind of obsolete in my book.(no pun intended)

How long does it take to create a universe? possibly it wasn't created. possibly it is been around perpetually and it expands and then collapses lower back on itself and then explodes to boost lower back. Repeating that cycle lower back and lower back in simple terms like the seasons of the 300 and sixty 5 days. there develop into no one there writing all of it down, inspite of each thing we've in simple terms had written language on earth for roughly 6000 years. The medical community has dated the universe at 15 billion years old. even though it began, it has taken that long to get to what it is right this moment. day after today it is going to be somewhat distinctive. Does it actual remember the way all of it began? we would desire to stay our lives right this moment and do the ideal we are able to with what we've been born with. PaulS

Hydrogen, an orderless, colorless, tasteless gas, which given enough time turns into people.

Don't see why there couldn't be life some where else also. Just don't bet on ever being able to communicate with it.

For now, all we can do is speculate. But there are enough possibilities, that extra-terrestrial life is highly likely.
For the number of possibilities: try "drake equation" in your

Yes, I think if life happened once, odds are that it probably happened again someplace else....

We just have to find it.

If God wanted you to be able to refute the Bible, He would have given you the curiosity, intelligience and desire to do so.

Of course I don't "feel you on this." I am not in the habit of feeling people I don't know well beforehand.
