Looking for new ways to prepare wild game.

are located in space? How can we observe photons traveling from point A to point B?

In other words, how is it possible for a photon with no spatial dimensions to be located in space, or be said to stand in some relation to other objects in space? Is having "no spatial dimensions" the same as being "not located in space?"

How does science account for this? I know this is a tall order for an online forum, so I would love it if someone could direct me to a reliable source that would address this question.

Radon - 212 has a half-life of 24 minutes. Show that if you start with 96mg of radon-212 that you will have 91 mg of polonium-208 two hours later (and not 93 mg).

Genetic recombination (in particular the exchange of genes (DNA) between homologous chromosomes) sometimes takes place in meiosis:

a. after the first cell division
b. before the DNA synthesis
c. prior to the first metaphase
d. between nonhomologous chromosomes

I thought it was c but the word "sometimes" is throwing me off. Maybe d?? I don't see anything about nonhomologous chromosomes in my book though.

Late in the twentieth century, a series of observations and theories arose, not related to the mind or consciousness, but purely on the agenda of mainstream particle physics and cosmology. From the beginning of quantum physics in the early twentieth century, physicists have found, strangely, a role in physics for human consciousness and the mind. This role has in fact been too strange for mainstream physics, which has proceeded without the mind.

let V be a finite dimensional vector space, M and N linear subspaces of V, prove

dimM+dimN = dim(M+N) + dim(M n N)

n = intersection,

proof:
First prove the lemma
If U is a subspace of V and {u_1,..., u_k} is a base in U then there are some vectors v_1,..., v_l such that {u_1,..., u_k, v_1,..., v_l} is a base in V.

Now choose the base B in M n N. Extend it by lemma to a base Bm in M, and base Bn in N. Now prove that Bm u Bn is a base of M+N.

Let #X be a number of elements in X.
You have
dim M = #Bm
dim N = #Bn
dim (M+N) = #(Bm u Bn)
dim (M n N) = #B
and #(Bm u Bn) = #Bm + #Bn - #(Bm n Bn) = #Bm + #Bn - #B because Bm n Bn = B

does that look right, any help is appreciated

I am receiving a video-based laser return via an APD and need to take the AC referenced signal and reference it to DC so I can add the sync. I have not been successful, so far. It still goes below 0v and gets into my sync signals.

Any ideas?

On that program, (which I can't remember the name of), I saw that not only is Uranus' polar axis tilted almost to 90 degrees, but its satellites are fairly nicely arranged on the planet's equatorial plane. I knew about the polar tilt, but not the moons. I figure that somehow the planet got tilted, but why the moons? This would suggest that the whole system formed that way. But why? How? It seems contrary to the expected physics.

Do You remember the old problem about the equilateral triangle on the rails? Given are 3 co-planar parallel lines, the distance between 1st and 2nd is a, between 2nd and 3rd - b (and a + b between 1st and 3rd of course).
Please follow the link below to see a picture:

Easily follows that for all a ≥ 0 and b ≥ 0 there exists an equilateral triangle, having one vertex on each line with side length:
(2/√3)*√(a² + ab + b²)

Now the 3D analog: imagine 4 parallel planes at distances a, b and c between them. Does a regular tetrahedron exist, having one vertex on each plane? If so, find its edge length.
