a friend of mine has glacoma and has no insurance
and does not quallify for any type of government or
social assistance program. she is in desperate need
of surgery, she can,t see, but neeeds a doctor in the
houston area who will work out a payment program with
her. this is extremely urgent, time is of the essene,
problem got much worse in only a week, last week she
could see, she neeeds a doctor or clinic in the houston
area to work with her and allow her to work out a payment
program. somebody, a doctor, surgeon, or health care
professional, please help!! thanks and god bless.

Go to the local community hospital, they can help her there with payments, etc.

Call Rice University Medical Center. They will have what is called a "medically indigent" program where she can get treatment at low or no cost.
There are also "free clinics" in every major city, including Houston. Call the area medical society/ association and ask where you can find one.
You could also try the county health department.
The Braille Institute is another potential referral source.
