How big would a meteorite have to be to be and how fast would it have to travel to penetrate pack ice over a kilometre thick and still pass through about 3 kilometres of sea water to impact the sea bed and leave a crater about 235.6km across and approximately 639.97km in length. I am assuming it hit at a low angle. I f you have information and a website to support it then please share it with me. I am working on a theory that could change the way the world thinks of the 3 greatest events in the history of the world.

Two surveyors 180 meters apart on the same side of a river measure their respective angles to a point on the other side of the river and obtain 54 and 68 . How far from the point (line-of-sight distance) is each surveyor? Round your answers to the nearest 0.1 meter.

Could someone please explain how to solve this? Thanks.

k my math teacher is such a jerk he comes in before class and talks to the students about random stuff then starts the class by writing a headline about what we've been doing last time and asking us what we know about it. So some students say different things and he sums it up and points to a problem that we don't know yet or an element we haven't covered yet and then he like leads the class through a proof or an example and asks us what we think happens next and like asks us what we think about that proof and where the big ideas in the proof were. Then he runs through an example and sets the good students a problem they can work on in class while he does another example for those who needs to see another example before they get to work on the problems too. He sets alternative harder questions people can choose to work on instead if they want to. He always allows questions to be asked and always answers them. He never sets reading homework and still everyone learns math. WHAT A JERK!!!

.....Also, did the trilobites dissapear before the starfish came into existience?
Thanks!

The sad fact for evolutionists is that ID researchers don't have to answer to them. The ID researchers will keep doing their research, and the evolutionary establishment cannot stop them, though it would like to.

Stephen Jay Gould (for example) - who appointed him the pope of Dawinist religion? NO ONE. Researchers like Stephen Meyer do not owe him or anyone else an explanation or an apology for what they do, and for what they discover.

Unfortunately, the evolutionary establishment will not tolerate any questioning of their most cherished theories. What ever happened to open-mindedness?

I just saw this movie "March of Penguins" and it was sad. Their survival is so hardly earned. They almost freeze to death each year or go without any food for over 4 months and starve to death. Why do they suffer like this? Can't they survive in a place somewhere warner? but still with sea or ocean? I know they've been living like that for a long time, but to me they looked like they were suffering horribly. Especially the young baby penguins. I'm just curious. Scientific or documentary answers are requested only. No guesses please?

I have an Orion Sky View Pro go to mount (GEQ) and a 203 mm reflector tube, a 150 mm Mak- Cas tube (primary), a Nikon d-40 DSLR, and an SBIG ST2000 XCM (primary) camera.
My main problem is tracking. Regardless of how careful I am with the polar alignment, I cant go beyond a 25 second exposure before trailing.
I bought the SVP mount and then added the goto system later. I believe I may have the motor gears improperly aligned with the mount. (They have a huge disclaimer in the manual of the go to kit).
--- Is there a GEQ mount with at least an 11 inch SCT that comes with the motors preinstalled and calabrated for under $5,000.00? ----
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with me.
