my grandmother is currently taking 13-14 different types of medication. she has cancer and is in the e.r. as i speak being checked for a heart attach. i'm wondering if a mixture of all this med she is on may have brought a heart attach on. i'm looking for a site that could tell me if mixing all these meds could cause a heart attach. these are the meds she's on that i know of and 2 more are to be added next week.
Tylox, Morphine, Senna, Prochlorper, Nexium, Meloxicam, Lunesta, Pain Patch, Milk of Mag, Stool Softner, Lexapro, Megace, Inhaler and i'm not sure what the others are that are to be added next week.
THANKS!!

I have found the information there more accurate and more up to date than some other sites I have used.

the best person to talk to about meds is a registered pharmacist. you should be careful about using the internet unless you are sure it's a reliable site. while it won't help you instantly...there is a really great book called "Generation RX" by Greg Cisler (I think that's the author). In it he talks about the effects of medications on the elderly and how they are often over prescribed and not monitored appropriately. in the back of the book there are a bunch of websites he has researched that are helpful. a friend of mine has used this and says it was really helpful. good luck.

It relies upon if its rather risky to attain this. maximum meds will say 'ward off alcohol' even yet it would not advise its risky. If human beings mixture the two and grow to be unwell, they'd't blame the physician using fact the physician has lined his/her back via telling you to no longer mixture them.
