Than people in the United States?
I see all the time, especially in Ireland, that if you don't have a ghost(spirit) enhabating your dwelling, you are the odd guy out.
Why is this? Or is it the same everywhere, that there are non-beileivers in the field of the Paranormal?

Show work in ai+ bj form to find the tension in the two cables. This is a static equilibrium problem. The answers are Left Cable: 845 lbs, Right Cable: 1000 lbs.
(THIS IS A TRIGONOMETRY PROBLEM, NOT PHYSICS)
Look at the picture for reference.

Probably not. But intelligent design is interesting because it notes patterns and information within the DNA code.

I don't think one has to be an atheist to be interested in studying these patterns.

Evolutionists are quick to say that the evident "design" in life is a result of random chance. That life only "looks like it was designed."

That's cool with me. But whether or not design is inherent in living systems was initiated by God, or by random chance, we should not be afraid of exploring it.

Oddly enough, many evolutionary scientists shy away from investigating this aspect - probably for fear of losing funding, or giving credence to creationism.

I guess they are more interested in protecting their theories than investigating the truth.

It has racemes of yellow pea like flowers but I have seen them with pale pink or purple flowers. The leaves are large and pinnate with oval shaped leaflets. I thought is was a Tipuana but apparently it has a different name.

I spent the holiday at my brothers house. He hasn't ever changed his lighting. There are a few family members that died too young to meet my niece. For the first time ever I was taking pics and they turned out like abstract paintings meaning there were strands of orange/yellow orbs. Not dots, but long wavy strands. I am a germaphob/neat freak/professional photographer so I keep my camera extra clean. They are 100% eco friendly ppl so there house is clean. I took the pictures with no flash. I took them white lights off/on. I'm kinda skeptic/kinda not. What do you think?

I'm forgetting some algebra rules; why is this true?

2007-11-22 09:57:18 · 3 answers · asked by RogerDodger 1 in Mathematics

When solving for "x" in this equation:
log_2(x) + log_2 (5)=3
I got x=1.6 or 8/5

3^2x=27^2x-3
I got x=9/4

I have no idea if these are right, I'm guessing here.
Thanks.

I have been given a graph of the amount of solubility of two substances. I don't know if it is possible without the graph, but I need help with these questions...

Substance A
Temp./Solubility (g/100gH2O)
0/20
20/34
40/46
60 /58
80 / 72
100 /86

Substance B
0 /10
20 /18
40 /37
60 / 61
80 /100

1) What mass of substance A would you need to add to 325g of water to saturate the solution at 25 C?

2) 27g of substance A is added to 60g of water. At what temperature will the solution be saturated?

3) A saturated solution in 68g of water is cooled from 70 C to 55 C. Waht mass of the solute will crystalize out?

5) You have a saturated solution in 140g of water of substance A at 20 C. What mass of water must you have to contain a saturated solution of substance B at that temperature, given the same amount of solute?

Thanks :)

Thanks in advance

1. simply: sqrt 49 + sqrt (-12)
2. simplify w/o neg. exponents (-2a^-3b^-7c^3)^-2
3. simply 27^(2/3)
