I have no idea....

For the following reaction at a certain temperature, it is found that the equilibrium concentrations in a 5.00 L rigid container are [H2] = 0.0500 M, [F2] = 0.0100 M, and [HF] = 0.400 M. If 0.330 mol of F2 is added to this equilibrium mixture, calculate the concentrations of all gases once equilibrium is reestablished.

H2(g) + F2(g) 2 HF(g)

[H2]=
[F2]=
[HF]=

1. I have NO idea how to do this and its not in my book

Explain how to use the graph of f(x)= (3/4)^x to produce the graph of 3/4(x) +2

2. This one I got down to where I have to factor and I cant factor 5x^2 + 75x -10 .... I think I went wrong somewhere???

Solve: log 5x + log (x + 15) = 1

I have a question about time travel, and I'm going to use a South Park episode as an example. In the trapper keeper episode, someone comes back from the future to destroy Cartman's trapper keeper because it eventually becomes the ruler of the world. What I don't understand is if he destroyed it, the trapper keeper would have never taken over the world, so he would have never existed, which means he would have never come back to destroy it, so then it would take over the earth. It's just a big cycle.. Am I looking at it wrong or what? I don't think time travel really is possible or anything, its just confusing.

CH3CH2Br + OH(-) ==>

CH3CH2Br + (CH3)CO(-)==>

Which [E2] reaction in each pair is faster?

This deals with stronger nucleophile, stronger base, the stronger the nucleophile, which favors the E2 eraction. But which base is stronger? I say it's the OH, but some have said it's the other one (CH3)CO-. So which base is stronger, and WHY? Please include his as part of your answer. Thank you.

I take 50 mgs of Tramadol occassionally for back pain. I try not to take if I don't need it. A friend of mine called this afternoon and invited me to go out for drinks tonight. I know I am not supposed to drink with Tramadol. How long do I have to wait after my last dose to safely have a couple of drinks again?

Let a sequence be defined by x(n+1) = ( x(n)^5 +2)/6 with x(1)=0.

Show x(n+1)-x(n) =< 5/6 [x(n)-x(n-1)] =< 1/3 (5/6)^(n-1)

Presumably we can solve this using induction, though it seems quite tricky and I've made a mess of it so far. Or is there a better method? Thanks very much.

I don't want to believe this crap, but I need information opposing the belief of this planet?
The only thing I have is common sense:
IF the planet does have an orbit similar to a comet's, then wouldn't the people on the planet die because it's so cold?
IF the planet did interact with our solar system some years ago, why did it collide with earth and not mars or jupiter? Especially Juptier, because of it's huge mass wouldn't it pull the planet towards it, or even stabilize it?
What the hell do the sumarians know anyway?

The figure shows a bicycle wheel resting against a small step whose height is h = 0.140 m. The weight and radius of the wheel are W = 22.0 N and r = 0.390 m. A horizontal force F is applied to the axle of the wheel. As the magnitude of F increases, there comes a time when the wheel just begins to rise up and loses contact with the ground. What is the magnitude of the force when this happens?
