I'm assuming the drum turns, but no heat.

Could be several things, including:

o Thermostat
o Coil
o Overtemp switch
o Main control

Probably have to have a repairman look at it.

Other than a bad heating coil or thermostat, one other thing to check is the fuses (or ciruit breakers).

Electric clothes dryers operate on 220V with a fuse on each of the hot 110V leads. If only one of the fuses has blown (a common occurence) the drum will still turn but there will be no power to the heater.

Assuming here that you know how to check for a bad thermostat, heater, or fuse/breaker. Otherwise it is time for a 'professional'.

The heating coil could be burned out. Or, the thermostat which controls the heating coil could be bad.
