I agree with another answerer about all the dumb answers!

I assume you want to solve the equation when X = 5. If so ...

X2 means x square ... or 5X5.

Therefore, ...

Y = 5X5 - 5X5 + 4

Y = 25 - 25 + 4

Y = 4

Y= 5 (x2 -5x+4).
Y= -15x +20.
Y +15x=20.

y = x^2 + 5x + 2 y = x^2 + 3x – 2 x^2 + 5x + 2 = x^2 + 3x – 2 2x=-4 x=-2 y=4-6-2=-4 (–2, –4) is the answer

if x = 5 then y would = 2(5) - 5(5) = 4
10-25+4
y = - 11

Math major here.... You cant solve this question as you have it written. are you looking for the zeros of the equation? if so then using the quadratic equation you get (x-4)(x-1)=0 and then x is 4 or 1..........................
