Someone I know claims to be able to predict the outcome of a coin toss thought not perfectly.. I know they basically have a 50% chance of guessing it right the first time...but how many times would they need to guess it right for it somewhat confirm that they can somehow predict the outcome. Like for example, would they need to guess it right 90% of the time or something like that. And what would be the odds of them guessing say 70% right? I would kind of like to be able to setup some sort of a bell curve to know what values would be out of the normal range for deviation? Thanks

There is a 2 kg block being pushed up a vertical wall at a constant velocity for a dist of 3 m and the coeff. of friction is .30. A constant force is applied at an angle of 28 deg with the horizontal. Find the magnitude of normal force btw the block and the wall.
Now I found the horizontal component to be 17.32 but I can't find the vertical component. I've done everything possible but can't solve this.

I am trying to find out what this solid is. It looks like a really small rock. Two of them were stuck together and when I took them apart it looked like metal was stretching. I found the density was 3.21g/ml3. Its not magnetic, and has a melting point after 650 degrees C. I can't figure out what it is.

Given two amsses, 3m and 4m, where the 3m mass is moving with a velocity v1 colliding with the 4m mass, which is suspended by a string of length L. The two masses are stuck together as the result of the collision. The compound system swings to the right and stops at the horizontal level. Find the kinetic energy K of the compound (theoretically).

As far as i understand (no very much) a human cell contains 23 pairs of chromosones. But i am also told during fertilisation we have 23 'non-paired' chromosones in each gamete which eventually mix. That doesn't make 23 pairs though- it makes 46 seperate chromosones,

I'm CONFUSED.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

the future of biotechnology is not just with plants but fish splised tomato is highly likely. it would be just like a tomato but it has the good proteins of a fish in it. no physical change only chemical. but I'm more into the Human interact with and control technology with their mind part for biotech(if im thinking of the wrong thing plz correct me this will be my job in the future) i think that human controlling tech with their minds and having more advanced prosthetics we would be in a would of i show i watch.(Ghost in a Shell) which is a world in the future where most humans change from a fregal human body to a sturdy prosthetic body controlled by the only bio part needed for them (the brain) which hints the term Ghost in a Shell but there r plenty of good things about this field but there just this one thing that will happen in the future if we ever find out how to contain the brain in a shell and keep it alive and working with technology

So last year i was told that we draw an atom with the nutrons and protons in the middle, then we put rings around and electrons would be represented as 'X', drawing 2 (North, South) on the first ring.

4 (North, South, East, West) on the second ring.

8 on the next ring (North, South, East, West, North, South, East, West), meaning we would have 2 paired up at each point, the next would have maximum of 3, ect.

This year we are told that we should draw the "X", East, West, North South, does it really matter, and is there a correct way of drawing an atom in that matter, and whats its name, as it isnt the same as a Bohr Atom.

Thank-you
