I am trying to find out what this solid is. It looks like a really small rock. Two of them were stuck together and when I took them apart it looked like metal was stretching. I found the density was 3.21g/ml3. Its not magnetic, and has a melting point after 650 degrees C. I can't figure out what it is.

You need to do some more tests. is it soft enough to be scratched with a penknife? Is it soluble in water? Is it soluble in vinegar, and if it is does it give off bubbles while it dissolves? Can you get any clues from where it was found? Does it feel cold to the touch? Can you break it by hitting with a hammer (care! wear eye protection), and, if so, does it break cleanly, splinter, or give a curved crack like glass? Or does it just bend or spread out when you hammer it? Also, what colour is it, and does it look dull or shiny?

When you have the answers, you will still have lots of possibilities, but you will have managed to narrow them down.
