The biosphere and biosphere 2 project both failed. Partly due to human interaction problems but also the first time around there were oxygen issues. I don't know the specifics but I am thinking they had plenty of plants but maybe not enough humans to exhale enough carbon dioxide to match the plants or something? Or maybe they needed more plants? Either way a ship or station would need enough plants and the ability to produce proper light for the plants which would be no easy feat. I have to assume the energy would have to be solar based which means if the ship left the range of the sun they would run out of power. One thing is for certain the earth and sun will not last forever so in order for humans to perform deep space exploration we would need a 100% working hibernation system that can freeze all cell aging or a way of getting energy without needing the sun.

Could you please answer the following questions about your symptoms.

1. What symptoms did you have in the last 2 weeks?
2. Was medicine taken? If so what was it? Was it conventional or alternative? Prescribed over the counter or home remedy?
3. Was it something that had been used before?
4. Was advice sought from a pharmist and were any other practitioners consulted? (e.g. physiotherapists, osteopaths, etc.)
5. Was there any change in behaviour (time off work, rest, exercise, dietary change)
6. And finally did you ignore the symptom and wait for it to go away?

Could you please identify your age, sex and your occupation.

Thanks very much for your response.

Some scientist believe there is a limit to how long humans live. One supporting argument is that during the last century life expectancy from age 65 has increased more slowly than life expectancy from birth. so eventually these two will equal. at which point according to scientists life expectancy should increase no further. In 1900 life expectancy at borth was 46 years of age. and life ecpectancy at age 65 was 76. In 2000 these figures had risen to 76.9and 82.9. respectively in both cases the increase in life expectancy has been linear. Using these assumptions and the data given find the maximum life expectancy for humans."

a test of abstract reasoning is given to a random sample of students before and after they completed a formal logic course. The results are below. Construct a 95% confidence interval for the mean difference between the before and after scores. Is there evidence to suggest the logic course improves abstract reasoning? You may assume that the differences for the dependant samples are normally distributed.
before 74 83 75 88 84 63 93 84 91 77
after; 73 77 70 77 74 67 95 83 84 75

Note; define d= before -after, then d = 3.7 and s = 4.95

Ok, I've read about the end of the Myan calendar and it ending it's cyles and things like that. So, it had to run out sometime...but what I want to know is about the scientific things like the planetary alignments. you know that whole big talk about the planets aligning durning the winter soltice and the exact time our planets are entering the center of the Milky Way's galaxy or something like that, I'm not worried about the "end of time" I'm wanting to know more about the scientific stuff. Is this really going to happen? and is it going to cause our world to basically flip upside down and all of life to be destroyed? Serious answers only please!!

My husband has expressed interest in a telescope. It would need to serve 2 purposes - 1) viewing objects in space such as planets, moons, etc.; and 2) it would be set up in our living room window to view objects in the distance (we have a great ocean view at our house). What type of telescope would be best to serve both purposes?

I bought a turkey , its about 10 lbs, but I want to brine it in about 2 gallons of water. I have a plastic container that holds 28 lbs, of what used to be laundry detergent. As I was thinking is that container going to hold that much volume, I guess I am wondering, with the turkey and the liquid? Or should I get something bigger in size? If that is the case, what gallon size should I get?

1)find the remainder after dividing the larger no by smaller no ,using modulus operator.
2)change the larger no to smaller no & change the smaller no to remainder from step 1
3)keep doing until remainder is 0
