I was watching "I am my own twin" on the Discovery channel and it documented people that carry their twins DNA.

In short: because they carried two seperate DNA's (one from the fused twin) their children's DNA didnt match and it looked as though the children didnt belong to the mother.

In the case of paternity, can the same thing occur? Can a woman take a man for paternity and the test come back negative? Even though he may very well be the father because he carries two sets of DNA?

Assume that we know sigma (1/r!)from r=0 to infinity converges to e. Then how would we show that e - sigma(1/r!)from r=0 to n < 1/(n(n!))?

From this, can we deduce that e is irrational?

I've always been interested in astonomy and would like to purchase a telescope to view various constellations, heavenly bodies, and planets. I don't want to spend a lot of money because it would just be a hobby. What kind of telescope should I get? Like I said, I would like something powerful enough to see planets (not necessarily really detailed, just enough that it's recognizable). I'm clueless in this area and need as much advice as possible. Thanks!!! Oh... price estimates for your suggestions would be nice as well.

The Earth rotates around the sun due to d curvature of spacetime. Why does not it fall into it(followig a spiral path?)
Most wud say, because of the tangential force that keeps the earth in its orbit... But how did this force originate when d spacetime was already curved because of the sun??
Also since 'spacetime' is curved, time chould also be curved around the sun...
How can this be explained???
Any reference to the Cassini Spacecraft slingshot???

A space shuttle has a mass of 2.5 x 10^6 kg. At lift-off the engines generate an upward force of 30 x 10^6 N. What's the weight of the shuttle in newtons? What's the acceleration of the shuttle when launched in m/s^2? The average acceleration of the shuttle during its 10 minute launch is 14 m/s2. What velocity does it attain in km/s?

Equipment to be used in airplanes or spacecraft is often subjected to a shake test to be sure it can withstand the vibrations that may be encountered during flight. A radio receiver of mass 5.25 kg is set on a platform that vibrates in SHM at 116 Hz and with a maximum acceleration of 93 m/s2 (= 9.5 g).
(a) Find the radio's maximum displacement.
m
(b) Find the radio's maximum speed.
m/s
(c) Find the maximum net force exerted on it.
488.25 N

I found answer c but i do not know how to find a or b and have been trying to solve it for hours now.

P= Patm -Ph2o - (23.5/13.6)
V=28.5 ml .0285L
