Does anyone else feel this transit already impacting them in one way or another ? Personally it falls in my 7th house of relationships ( sun sign wise ), thus this is going to be one long bummer in this area and it will go direct only after the end of January.
Any feedback is much appreciated.

You are asking in the wrong place. You need to ask in the "Entertainment & Music > Horoscopes " forum.

In ancient times, when astrologers thought the planets travelled around the earth, the retrograde motion of Mars appeard to be something "funny" that Mars was doing, so of course they attributed mystical import to the phenomenon.

But we now know that retrograde "motion" does not reflect an actual backwards motion of Mars as it orbits the sun. It is just a result of the view of Mars from earth looking different as we pass Mars when we travel in our own orbit.

So, it seems that the "science" of astrology would be hard pressed these days to explain why it thinks retrograde motion is important.

Along with a long list of other things it would need to explain.
