Does the velocity of the two carts as they reverse direction increase, decrease, or stay the same?

Notes: the carts do not hit each other, but the magnets make them reverse direction. This is a frictionless, airless environment, no forces acting other than the force of the carts being initially pushed.

I am replacing my existing electric range with a gas range. I know that I must change the outlet so that I will have 110, however I do not want to run new lines if I can avoid it. I have been told that the new gas stove must be rewired using a different gauge of wire.

Since the existing wire is capible of handling 50A, why would the electrician need to run new wires for a 110V 20A circuit? Are all 110V outlets required by code to be 10 gauge or would any gauge that is rated for the voltage and amperage be acceptable?

Ok, this is driving me crazy. We have the equation y = -2tan(x+(pi/4))

So, the asymptotes aren't stretched or anything, some are still like pi/2 and -pi/2, right?

Assuming I've got that right

The pi/4 shifts the asymptotes to the right, correct? But then what are they? (pi/2)+(pi/4)? Which for some reason I can't work out....3pi/4? Gah. Help, please?

Yes, this is homework, but I'm not begging for an answer, I'm just severely confused and would rather ask someone with enough time to be on here than my already-stressed friends.

An object is being acted upon by three forces and moves with a constant velocity. One force is 60N along the x-axis, the second is 75N along a direction making a counterclockwise angle of 150 degrees with the x-axis. What is the direction (in degrees) of the third force, measured counterclockwise from the x-axis?

I dont need to see the moon, I want to see galaxies, planets and stuff like that, if that is even possible from a personal telescope. I am looking to spend about 400.00 on ebay for one. Thanks.

Our plumber hooked up the hot water to my ice maker, saying that many people think it freezes faster because of how much energy it takes to get water temperature moving. Once it gets moving in the right direction, it can move faster and faster. Have ya heard this? Okay, so does cold water boil faster? Just wondering.....
