Could anyone tell me anything I need to know about "e" when talking about derivitives. Such as: "e" derivitive, 2nd derivitive, and how its used in product and quotient rule

derivative of e is e only

ex: y = e^x

y' = e^x

y'' = e^x

d(e^x)/dx has the unusual property of being equal to itself. So if you have d(e^u)/dx, where u=f(x), the derivitive is du/dx*e^u.
