I need help trying to figure out this problem, 1000 ft of 18 gauge wire has a 6.385 resistance. How do you get A and D?

A 6 V source is connected to a 100 Ω resistor by two 12 ft lengths of 18 gauge copper wire. The total resistance is the resistance of both wires added to the 100 Ω resistor. Determine the following: (pg )

(a) Total resistance =

(b) Current = 59.9 mA

(c)Voltage drop across the 100 Ω resistor. = 5.99 V

(d)Voltage drop across each length of wire. = 4.61 mV

It is generally misunderstood by general public that if Einstein didn't exist, there is no Theory of Relativity. But it's not true. Other great physicist like Niels Bohr surely would have discovered it without him. The question is, how many years later? I would say 5 years?

My son has always had a strong memory, however recently he has taken an interest in trying to memorize sequences of numbers. Just in the last 24hours he has memorized "pi" to the 50th decimal place and is interested in getting to 100 by tomorrow. Is this something we should encourage him to continue to develop?

well here is another trig qustion....i think i have the right equations but not sure....here is the question...

"A small corporation borrowed $775000to expand its product line. Some of the money was borrowed at 8%, some at 9%, and some at 10%. How much was borrowed at each rate if the annual interest was $67000 and the amount borrowed at 8% was four times the amount borrowed at 10%?"

i have 3 equations but i dont think they are right...if they are...i must be messing up with my math...here they are...

x+y+z=775000
.08x+.09y+.1z=67000
.08x=4(.1z)

and yet again:
x=8% money
y=9% money
z=10% money

help agian would be appreciated!
